That time our chickens were in Louisville Magazine....

Since we don't have a television, our tv time has been replace by Instgramming things, My hen pix paid off, though. They were noticed by my amazingly talented, creative, friend, artist, musician, and Creative Director for Louisville Magazine, Suki Anderson. She and reporter Thomas Elmallakh together wrote a great piece featuring them. Thanks from me and my ladies, Louisville Magazine. We are going to frame it and hang it in the coop!

“Since I spend a lot of time roaming around in the woods, I’ve painted a lot of nature goddesses lately. If it wasn’t for painting and living in the woods where it is quiet, I don’t think I would be hopeful that I can survive.”
Article by Micheal Jones of LEO Weekly about brain injuries and insight on how healing can be found in painting and the natural world. Time away from the lights, noise, and traffic of the city has made a world of difference for me. We are sharing our farm because we believe so strongly in these therapies for healing.
